High Voltage SID Collection Update 53

Hello fellow lover of SID music!
Nice you found some time to read through this script, to see what has been
changed in the HVSC and for what reason.


After this update, the collection should contain 38,714 SID files!

This update features (all approximates):
    1045 new SIDs
     897 fixed/better rips
      20 PlaySID/Sidplay1 specific SIDs eliminated
     133 repeats/bad rips eliminated
    1076 SID credit fixes
      81 SID model/clock infos
      23 tunes from /DEMOS/UNKNOWN/ identified
      10 tunes from /GAMES/ identified
      81 tunes moved out of /DEMOS/ to their composers' directories
      11 tunes moved out of /GAMES/ to their composers' directories

We are always looking for others to help make HVSC a better collection.

# ACID64 player v3.0.3 #

Wilfred Bos has released a new version of ACID64.

Changes in version 3.0.3:

New 
- Support for the new HardSID USB devices: Uno and UPlay;
- Auto detection of turned on/off USB devices;
- Added sorting on column of every grid;
- Emulated SID reading.

Improvements 
- When performing e.g. mute/unmute, filter on/off or pause then no time gap
  isn't noticed anymore while playing on a USB device;
- Seek bar is always going smooth now and still synched with the 6510 CPU
  clock;
- Improved fast forward;
- HardSID.dll isn't required anymore for USB devices;
- Many small improvements.

Fixes 
- Works now without administrator rights;
- When using dual monitor ACID 64 will now be centered on the screen instead
  of the desktop.

# 1541 Ultimate II #

Gideon Zweijtzer has released the 1541 Ultimate II.

Changes compared to the 1541 Ultimate I:

- it has a plastic case;
- the PCB is 30% smaller;
- micro SD card slot;
- real-time clock is implemented for correct file time and date;
- it uses a larger FPGA which enables the implementation of more features;
- USB host port which can be used to connect USB memory sticks;
- ethernet port has been removed;
- no restrictions anymore of number of files per directory;
- menu and file browser can be selected by joystick now.

The 1541 Ultimate II has an built-in SID player which can play SID files
from micro SD card and from USB sticks.

# HardSID UPlay / Uno USB devices #

HardSID has released two new high quality USB SID devices. Both USB devices
are powered via USB which makes it very easy to take it with you anywhere.

HardSID Uno has one SID chip and the HardSID Uplay can hold one 6581 and one
8580/6582 SID chip. Both devices are supported by ACID64, WinAmp plugin,
CCS64, Vice and Goattracker.

CCS64 V3.8 has been released. The following has been fixed/changed: 

- FIX: Fixed a bug in the sprite-to-sprite collision-detection register.
- FIX: Fixed a bug with the 'Windows' menu Options -> Video behaviour.
- FIX: Made the graphics-drawing routines multi-threaded, for better
       performance.
- FIX: Fixed a bug which caused the QuickLoad/QuickSave features to hang. 
- ADD: Two new Filter options, called CRT Television and CRT Monitor, which
       work only with the Window 2x screen mode and not with any other
       non-default video settings. These new Filter options include the
       after-lightening effect.
- INF: CCS64 V3.7 was compiled with Visual Studio 2008, which led to an
       in-compatibility with Windows 98/ME, but greater compatibility with
       Windows 7; when previous versions were compiled with Visual Studio
       2005, this had the opposite effect.

Hoxs64 is a Commodore 64 emulator written by David Horrocks.

Changes in this release:

- Added CIA6526 and CIA6526A options to the emulation setting dialog;

- Adjusted IRQ DMA behaviour for instructions SEI and CLI;
- Fixed a restore key bug;
- Adjusted Quick Speed to honour the VBL Sync option;
